Are you a female identified person in need of a professional headshot or portrait?
AND …
Feel ambivalent about having your photograph taken?
Wish you could be more relaxed and easy around the camera?
Does a “bad” photo impact your self-esteem?
Come talk, laugh, and cry about the female image and how we see ourselves and each other.
With the support of others and embodied practices, you will be guided through the photo shoot experience. We will help you connect to your authentic self and reveal the YOU underneath the internalized patriarchy that we are all bombarded with every day.
The workshop will include an opening activity followed by games and discussion throughout. Each of you will have your own 20-minute session with professional photographer Amber Johnston to create a set of 5-10 images. You will also have the opportunity to work with a professional make-up artist before your photo shoot, if you choose.
Come join us for a fun afternoon and a chance to develop a new relationship with the camera and yourself.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Cost per person $200
Space is limited to 12.
